Helene Daniel has practiced law since 1986. In 2008, she founded her own firm, Daniel Law Group P.A., to focus primarily on her mediation practice. She was previously the Managing Partner of Gallagher, Daniel & Keenan, P.A., a Tampa firm whose trial practice was in the areas of nursing home litigation, medical malpractice, complex personal injury, commercial and construction litigation.
During the course of her experience as a Trial Attorney, Ms. Daniel has represented both Plaintiffs and Defendants.
In 2001, Ms. Daniel became certified by the Supreme Court of Florida as a Mediator for Circuit Civil Court. Since that time, most of her mediations have involved medical malpractice, nursing home, wrongful death and complex personal injury cases. As a mediator, Ms. Daniel brings her experience, integrity and a sound understanding of the litigation process to the table.
Formerly Senior Trial Associate with Gallagher & Howard, P.A., and House Counsel with Prudential Property & Casualty, Ms. Daniel has extensive jury trial experience. She is a member of the Florida Bar and Washington D.C. Bar.
Ms. Daniel is currently serving a two-year term on the Board of the National Conference of Women Bar Associations. She is a Past President of HAWL (Hillsborough Association for Women Lawyers) and also served on the Florida Bar Grievance Committee for the 13th Judicial Circuit (2005-2008). Ms. Daniel is also a member of the Ferguson-White American Inn of Court and the Hillsborough County Bar Association.
She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Stetson University and her Juris Doctor from Nova University College of Law.
Ms. Daniel is admitted to practice in the United States District Court, Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.
She is also fluent in French and can assist you in conducting negotiations with your French speaking clients.
Ms. Daniel has received Martindale-Hubbell’s highest rating for legal and ethical standards.
